Youth hacks – Open Lab
Place: ClubTime: 17:30 - 20:00 Admission: freeAge: 12-18 Hobby tinkerers, take note! Ready, set, go! Youth hacks is a project for everyone who likes to tinker and is curious about how tech, code, robotics, soldering irons, 3D printers, gaming and the like work. Every second week we meet in a small group in the forum and look into all the exciting questions you have always had. How do I program a game in Python? Can I make jewelry from LEDs? How does a 3D printer work? We work out the answers together with our mentors. They are real experts in their fields and always up for a puzzle. Learning through curiosity is our motto! You do not need to be a genius or a hacker to feel at home with us. All people between 12 and 18 are welcome, no prior experience needed! Interested? Then just drop by. We are all very nice and do not bite. On the contrary, sometimes there are even cookies! So it is worth coming by and having a look. We look forward to seeing you!

Children's and Youth Audio Drama Festival
Place: Café + courtyardTime: 14:00 - 18:00 Admission: free Children's and Youth Audio Drama Festival / Family DayListen, experience, join in! At the Children's and Youth Audio Drama Festival on July 31, 2026 in the café and outdoor area of the youth culture center forum, self-made audio plays of all genres await you from 2 to 6 p.m. in a relaxed atmosphere. Make yourself comfortable on our large lawn in the courtyard on seat cushions, deck chairs and rugs and listen to exciting audio plays and stories. In bad weather we will move inside. Snacks and soda can be bought from us, and you are welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks. The festival invites families to discover new sound worlds together and spend a cozy day with one another. From 3 to 5 p.m. there will be a hands-on workshop where we will show you how to record a story. For the workshop, bring your own texts and stories, and we will help you record them on site. Do you already have your own finished audio drama and want it played at the festival? Then send it in! Please send us your audio drama as a .wav or .mp3 by July 29, 2026 by email to [email protected]. Do you still want to record your story first?
