Writing in the Museum: Fragments

Six independent writing workshops invite you to write in the museum. Inspiration, access, and text form vary by date and topic - from first text fragments to workshop formats to narrative experiments. Topic of this session: Fragments Where does a text come from? Using small exercises, this workshop is meant to start the writing process, perhaps for the first time. Whether poems, fragments, or whole short stories emerge is up to you and the time available. Open to anyone who likes to write. With the Young Literature Institute Leipzig, cost 15 € per session. A theater course for young people who want to help shape what we do. The course is for young people. Everyone can take part. We play theater games. We rehearse plays. In our plays, the participants decide the topics. The finished plays are performed in the DachTheater. In this course, actors - some of whom have been together for many years - meet with the aim of developing plays that make people think and provoke a change in view on the motives of others. After bringing political topics, our own motives, and sometimes very deep personal experiences to the stage in recent years, in order to give all of this a provocative and questioning face, 2025 is time for something light. "Distance and a break" from everyday life is the wish, and so we will develop William Shakespeare's production "Much Ado About Nothing" with great joy in acting and fun. Productions such as „UnterStrom“, „Trigger warning“, „1984“ and „Sender unknown“, „Spoilsports“ have been brought to the stage by the UnterStrom theater group in recent years.
