Holiday Pass Offer: Beach Discovery Tour at Brodtener Steilufer
We would like to go on a beach walk with you and visit the “working cliff” at Brodtener Ufer. On this tour we will discover animals, plants, stones, and fossils together on the beach and in the shallow water area. Of course, the finds will be examined closely “under the magnifying glass.” By the way: the exhibition at the Museum for Nature and Environment contains many fossilized animals from prehistoric times and great rocks. They are mostly remains of sea animals and stones, some from Scandinavia, which were carried here by Ice Age glaciers. They come from the beach and from gravel pits. A family visit to the museum on another day, on your own, is worthwhile…For children aged 6 and up only with parental participation! Please bring: weatherproof clothing, a bucket, and a good mood!
